1. Do you often use maps?

  • I don’t use paper maps very often. When I’m outside and need to navigate, I usually use a taxi app that includes a map for finding my way and connecting with the driver.
  • Besides geographical maps, as a student, we also use mind maps to facilitate our studies. This method allows us to find connections and associations, which is particularly useful in Psychology, as it involves extensive linking of various concepts and ideas.

2. Do you use paper maps?

  • I rarely use paper maps. The only time I typically check a paper map is when I enter a building to locate fire exits. For navigation in general, I prefer using maps on my phone.
  • On occasion, I find myself using paper maps, especially when navigating unfamiliar buildings, like checking the fire exits or when visiting galleries that provide small area maps.

3. How often do you use maps on your phone?

  • I use maps on my phone primarily when I’m traveling. It’s not something I use on a daily basis. When planning a trip, I use the map function to check the location, estimate the distance to my destination, and consider the best routes to get there.
  • Almost every day, even though I’ve spent years in this place, I still find myself using my phone’s map, mainly because the road and train systems can be rather complicated. Additionally, I use it to check out restaurants and read their reviews.

4. Do you have maps at home?

  • I don’t have many maps at home. When I was younger, we had a globe, but after I graduated from primary school, we stored it away and didn’t have many maps at home.
  • Back in high school, I had both world and China maps at home. However, after graduating, we decided to store them away and we just use digital maps
