More and more people no longer read the newspaper or watch TV programs to get news. They get news about the world through the Internet. Is this a positive or negative development?（媒体）
Introduction
Due to the increasing popularity of news on the internet, newspapers and TV programs are becoming obsolete. I believe that this is a positive development as it addresses environmental concerns and encourages critical thinking among the masses.
Body 1
Newspapers are produced daily, leading to a high demand for paper. However, as more people subscribe to digital media, the usage of paper decreases. This is a positive development as it reduces the supply and demand of paper. Additionally, a decline in TV shows means less utilization of satellite communication, reducing the risk of overexposure to radio frequency. While these may not be primary environmental factors, the waning popularity of these media sources can contribute positively to our environment.
Body 2
In the past, credible media outlets provided news to the general public. However, with the emergence of internet journalism, news delivery has become decentralized. I believe that this has a positive impact on our society as more people are becoming skeptical about the news they receive. Now, we have checks and balances in place, as individuals can access multiple news sources on the internet and form their own opinions, free from the influence of the media itself. Consequently, more people are inclined to read and analyze the information they receive, fostering critical thinking and the development of independent perspectives.
Conclusion
In conclusion, traditional media such as TV and newspapers are gradually fading away due to the rise of internet news. This represents a positive development in our society as it addresses potential environmental issues and cultivates a generation of critical thinkers.
