IELTS Speaking Part 1 – Happy Things
IELTS Speaking Part 1 – Happy Things
1. Is there anything that has made you feel happy lately?
I recently acquired a pair of shoes that holds a special place in my collection. Despite having a decent array of shoes, this one stands out. It’s a limited edition, and many people had been eagerly waiting to order it for quite some time. Initially, I was worried that I might miss out, but I managed to make the purchase on time, and it brought me a lot of happiness.
2. What made you happy when you were little?
Since my parents were frequently busy, the highlight of my week was when they returned home and brought me some snacks. Those moments brought me a lot of joy and happiness.
3. What do you think will make you feel happy in the future?
Currently, I have a multitude of plans, such as graduating, building a career, and starting a family. However, at this moment, passing an exam that holds the key to my success would truly make me feel on top of the world.
4. When do you feel happy at work? Why?
Being a Russian language major, there are times when the lessons can be quite challenging. That’s why receiving positive feedback from our teacher fills me with immense joy. It makes me feel like I’ve managed to provide them with satisfaction, especially considering the effort I’ve put into overcoming the difficulties.
5. Do you feel happy when buying new things?
Absolutely, take for instance the shoes I purchased. The thrill of opening the box and the satisfaction of seeing myself in the mirror wearing those shoes made me immensely proud and happy.
6. Do you think people are happy when buying new things?
I can’t speak on behalf of everyone, but observing the sparkle in my sisters’ eyes when their packages arrive indicates that they too experience happiness upon receiving their purchases. It’s as if they’re unwrapping presents.
