Do you love singing songs?
There are very rare moments when I feel the urge to sing or listen to a song, especially during times of extreme happiness, like a vacation or a moment of great relief. I might sing a couple of songs during those times, but it usually doesn’t last for more than 10 minutes. It’s like reaching the pinnacle of one’s happiness, but it’s not something that would continue for an extended period, maybe not even more than 5 minutes.
Have you learned to sing any songs when you were a child?
I did learn how to sing a song, but not in a professional way. We observed people singing, noticing the difference between those who sing from their mouth and those who sing from their diaphragm. We paid attention to how they sustain the sound and the vibration of their tone. Additionally, there are tutorials on social media about how to sing that we’ve explored.
Which singers do you like most?
One of our celebrated singers is [insert name here], a well-known celebrity in our country who has also gained recognition in other countries. Another favorite is Taylor Swift, although she hasn’t had a concert in China. I once planned to attend her concert in Singapore, but due to a hectic schedule, I had to cancel, and I still regret not being able to go.
Do people in your country often sing songs?
During celebrations, yes, but generally, our people tend to be reserved when it comes to singing. Singing a song is seen as an expression of extreme emotions, whether it’s happiness or sadness, and it’s not something done every day. While people do listen to songs, it’s relatively rare to see them spontaneously burst into song.
