  3. What do you do when you feel bored?
  4. Do you think childhood is boring or adulthood is boring?

1. Do you often feel bored?

Most of the time, especially when tasks are repeated multiple times. Many of my jobs or projects are routine, and at some point, they become very tedious, lacking stimulation. Even with the multitude of TV shows available online, I’ve seen most of them, and it can become boring. Internet videos also lose their appeal after a while. To combat this, I make sure to change my career every two years or embark on a new project every six months to keep myself stimulated.

2. When would you feel bored?

I feel bored when things become more of an expected routine. For instance, when I worked in a school, the first year was exciting, but from the second year onward, it followed the same pattern. This repetition made it monotonous. The same happens at home; even during weekends, if the routine becomes too predictable, it can get boring, like waking up, doing chores, or going out with friends, if it becomes too clockwork.

3. What do you do when you feel bored?

We try to ensure that we do something interesting to break the monotony. This could involve trying something different or engaging in random activities. Recently, we’ve decided to travel more, especially during off-seasons, to change the atmosphere and experience different things. The past few years, we’ve been going to the same place, which has become boring, so this year, we plan to try something new.

4. Do you think childhood is boring or adulthood is boring?

I would say childhood can be boring because you don’t have much control over your activities. In adulthood, although there are responsibilities, you have more control over your time. While adults may be forced into certain routines, having control over your schedule allows for more variety. Many would agree that childhood tends to become monotonous, especially when spending about 20 years primarily focused on education. I recall the ’90s being a time of limited technology, contributing to the perception of boredom during childhood.
